LED Light Set Experience in AlaskaDec 03, 2008

I was very disappointed when I found out these 6 sets were arriving UPS "Ground". I paid 30 Dollars for service that is matched with our Postal System if it were shipped Priority Mail w/a tracking number it would have been 10 bucks the most. I did express my feelings directly to them.
Well I wrapped roof of the house with them day after of Thanksgiving plugged them into a Timer of course. (I actually could have used one more string.)I gave them 4 Stars for the "Product" and it's claims
So they have been burning for almost 4 nights. There is not a great degree of being brighter than any other. Except for one of the strings, it's like that set has developed a drop in power? I use only the best most heavy duty outdoor cord. My house is only 4 years old and I have never had a problem with the cheaper "True Value" Sets. I could have saved 100 dollars and saved myself some grief if I didn't think I was going to save a nickel burning these LED things. Maybe I just got a bad set. But for almost 22 bucks a 30 foot string it's just not worth it to me. Yes, I hate to admit it, I made a mistake. Maybe others won't have the same experience. They are nice and 95% of the set is okay But,
IMO, it's not worth the gamble.
