This is a truly retro color wheel!!!!!!! a little slow to turn at first but very easy to put together and change the color wheel--would recomment if you like retro.

This is a piece of junk. It worked for about 5 minutes and then quit. The motor kept running, but the light would not light up. Replacing the light did not fix the problem. Don't waste your money!

This rotating lite sould be taken off the market. When burning it produces a very toxic odor. It created a cough and eye watering for my family. I wasted my money.

I purchased two of these color wheels..one for a silver tree, one for a white tree. Does not work at all on the white tree..can see no color. The product worked great on the silver tree. The unit was quiet and nice looking. I couldn't figure out how to assemble the stand and there were no directions, but other family members were able to set each of them up. We were very happy with the color produced against the silver tree as well as the way it reflected on the wall behind the tree. We are also very happy with the alternative color choices over other color wheels. I decided to keep both even though it wouldn't work on the white tree in anticipation of using it outdoors next year.

Absolutely an a+ purchase. The only thing that would improve this would be if it were a little bigger.
It definately is the closest replica of the one we had growing up in the 60's.
The only complaint is that it emits a burning smell for the first several hours of operation. I'm very satisfied with both the price and quality.
