I bought this because West Virginia is going to the Big 12 and I
collect mascots from that conference. He's an appealing little
rascal, which I would recommend to adults as well as kids who root
for the Mountaineers or, like me, collect mascots. I don't see
anything harmful to a young child. I'm sure I'll enjoy having
him around.

The Hawkeye plush animal is cute. I purchased it for a baby gift because it looks like a baby Hawkeye. I wasn't real impressed by the quality of the stuffed animal. The coloring isn't quite right -- the fur is a dull, gray-yellow. I've seen nicer quality Iowa bears, for similar pricing.

This was an excellent birthday gift for my friend who is an Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He has an enormous collection of Crimson Tide memorabilia but I noticed he didn't have this item. This plush mascot was the perfect size to fit on his television. I told him he really needs to check out Amazon.com for more Alabama items before this football season. Roll Tide!
