Items arrived, taken out of package - were not as described, plastic bottom, not brass plated. However, upon attempting to put candle together after putting in batteries, unable to screw lamp into candle, kept popping off, would not screw down and remain closed/stable. Lamp popped off. Attempted 4 different candles from order - all same issue.
Upon contacting seller about returning, no returns of Christmas merchandise after December 1. HAD THAT BEEN ON THE SCREEN AT ANY TIME, I WOULD NOT HAVE MADE THIS PURCHASE. Exceptionally dissatisfied, left with $81.83 of merchandise not worth 10 dollars at a yard sale. Highly recommend Amazon cease dealing with this merchant.

I was surprised to see that someone would write such a horrible review about these candles! We used these in centerpieces all the time. They are lightweight and beautiful - they are perfect because they are battery operated. They are great on mantles and in places where an electrical cord is not an option. I did not have any of the trouble that the previous reviewer mentioned - The batteries fit perfectly, the bulbs were not a problem. The reviewer also does not mention the name of the merchant which is unfair since there are several people selling this item. These are beautiful candle lights. Although they may not be the best option for window lighting they do have a great application and are very pretty and work well.

I purchased these candles to use mostly during a power outage.....but I can of course also use them for holidays too.....they arrived very quickly from the date I ordered them....

The company that sent these candles to me has 'gone the extra mile and more' to see that I was satisfied with
this product, including replacing them for free when they had gone down on me and sending me extra bulbs when the originals went out. You can't ask for more than that from an online purchase!

Somehow I missed the reviews describing exactly my experience thus far. Ordered 6 candles for Christmas time. 3 don't work, 1 cracked open as I was trying to screw the bulb in. Given the last review I fear I won't get the full refund I have requested. The quality of merchandise is unbelievably poor. Do not buy this item.
