My daughter is in culinary school, so I thought this would be cute for her. It is lightweight, but I would not use the word "cheap" to describe it. It was made fine in my opinion. The thing that bothered me the most is that I paid more for the shipping/handling than I did for the item. I would buy it again if the shipping/handling was lower.
