I asked for this glitter dome for Christmas because it reminded me of one my mom puts out for Christmas at her house. I received it for Christmas and, surprise!, it's made by the same people who made my mom's dome. This glitter dome is beautiful. It's not too big and not too small, and the figurines in the glass and around the base are detailed and sturdy. This glitter dome even lights up! The musical version of "Silent Night" is not a traditional one (it's a bit fast), but I really like it. For the price, this is a great buy!

this is a nice high-quality snow globe - worth the price. so many others out there look ok in the picture and when you see them for real, just look cheap. my wife loves it
