This tree is made in Asia. Having spent some time in that part of the world, my husband and I have a lot of funny stories about things we have in our home from the "land of not quite right". Here is our funny story about the tree.
We spent hours putting up the tree. It came in 3 parts, instead of the advertised 4, which means that the upper section is very heavy and difficult to lift into position. Once we hoisted it into place, we discovered that the two sections of the center pole do not fit. (Ha, ha!) We pulled it down and filed both parts of the pole. Several tries later, we were finally able to force the poles together. It is still not properly seated and fits so tightly that we dread having to pull it apart when it is time to disassemble the tree. Oh, boy, that will be a gas!
The huge bundle of wires has to be threaded down the center of the tree trunk and then all 35 plugs must be individually plugged into the power strip--funny,right? There is a remote control, but it is meant for a 2 prong plug and the power strip has 3 prongs. Hysterical!
I spent about 90 minutes fluffing the branches and trying to fill in the gap where the two pole sections are not seated properly. Finally, the tree wobbles. We weighted down the base with dumbells and intend to go buy sandbags. I thought of sending it back but then we would have to go through the whole process in reverse and we don't know if we can take that much more fun.

The tree was delivered in 2 big boxes, when I was expecting only one.
The tree has many pine cones throughout and has a realistic look. It is lit with 1,800 clear/white frost lights which shine beautiful. It comes with a metal tree stand; the tree is very heavy and the stand can damage the carpet. The tree comes in 3 parts, plus the tree stand. The tree parts are heavy, especially the lower two ones. The upper section is not so heavy, but it is difficult to lift into position. Only one person cannot assemble the tree. We didn't have problems fitting the parts. The tree has a huge bundle of wires. It takes a while to fluff the branches.
The price was great, I couldn't find another better tree on the market at this size and this price. We are very happy with this tree. We will see how is to put it back in the boxes.

BUYER BEWARE ! I tried to leave the stars at zero but I had to check one for my review to print. Boxes arrived broken and remote was missing. After I filed a claim with UPS who stated that the boxes were below standard the company agreed to replace the remote. When I asked when I could expect it they stopped replying to my emails. The tree is over 5' wide at the bottom and with gifts under the tree it was impossible to reach the switch to turn the lights on and off. In addition the power strip that was supplied with the tree was too small to accommodate all the plugs from the lights and many of the branches were bent and sagging. I will never buy from them again !
