A lovely tree!Dec 09, 2011
By Georgia After reading the various reviews for both this tree and the 7.5' tree, I was leery of ordering it but decided to give it a try. I've been working with larger artificial trees for years and wasn't intimidated by the weight or primping time required. The tree arrived in 4 days. Not having tracking information (as it is not provided by the company) was no more than a mild annoyance.
UPS delivered the tree to my front door in 2 boxes (not 1). My 14yo son and I carried them easily into the house. The tree was packed relatively loosely in the boxes so there was probably less smashing than others have reported. The printed instructions were quite helpful for assembly. However, the instructions for assembling the light cords was less than helpful. I finally came to the conclusion that any white fasteners are ok to take off and any black or green ones were probably best left alone. That seemed to give me all the necessary lengths to make correct connections. There was also a digital instruction video that one may or may not find helpful. As this was the first downswept tree I had worked with I wasn't sure how to fluff it out exactly and no instructions came to describe it. The picture of the tree on amazon was very helpful. Total time from opening the boxes to full assembly with lights "on" and basic primping complete - 1.5hr.
When I first began shopping for a tree online the numbers of trees and companies and choices was a bit overwhelming. This one was found in the middle of the search and was nothing I thought I was looking for but it was so lovely I kept coming back to look at it.
The tree is absolutely stunningly beautiful.

By Nick Don't buy it. Seriously, if you're even CONSIDERING buying this, put your mind in over haul. A) it's like 1000 bucks; B) it weighs 120 pounds (you can get a real tree that doesn't weigh that much!); and C) the lights are under warranty weigh less than the tree is, so if the lights go out after warranty, you're just plain screwed! This item is most likely bulky, hard to move around, and a pain in the butt. Just look into getting a much better tree and please don't think about getting this one. You'll be very sorry if you do for sure.
