By no excellent , double pulley is key, much better than LL Bean product. Top cap is resin like, better than wood for exposed area.

Sitting on a deck in the closed position. The top portion of this umbrella is extremely heavy - the bottom portion is as flimsy as a toothpick. The slightest lateral pressure will cause it to snap. Do not buy!
