Santa's WORST Christmas Trees!!!!!!!!!!!!!Feb 03, 2011
By whippetlover
"Whippets; bred to run but born to love!"
I got a Just Cut GE Constant On Santa's Best tree this past 2010 season. The entire top portion of the tree now does not light at all! I contacted their "customer service" and they refused to replace the top of the tree, they wanted to send me a string of lights that I MYSELF would need to "re-string" the "pre-lit" tree with!! When they said the tree had a 5 year warranty and the lights a 3 year warranty I didn't see that they don't consider the two together on a supposedly "re-lit" Christmas tree! I'm out over $200 due to Santa's Best and GE! Avoid them all and get a cheap tree ANY where else! You have a better chance of having a happy holiday that way! If you don't believe me, look at their record on the Better Business Bureau!

DO NOT buy any GE/Santa's Best Christmas treesNov 29, 2011
By sf6sisters Please save yourself a huge amount of frustration and DO NOT BUY ANY GE trees. The bulbs are a different size than EVERY other tree on the market and the only way to get replacement bulbs is to order them through GE at $1 A PIECE!! Ridiculous! And, unfortunately, since these bulbs consist of cheap little wires that WILL break at the rate of 10-20 a year, by the end of the warranty period you will be dishing out $20-$40 a year just to keep the tree lit.

GE "Constant On" Lights? NOT AT ALL!Dec 14, 2011
By Michelle B. If I could give it a "zero star" rating, I would - a one star is too generous. What a product misnomer and misrepresentation of this tree. Unfortunately, each string of lights has a bonus failure point - a current limiting "special bulb" that is not User Replaceable. If the "special bulb" (with a white base) blows, you have to replace the entire light string. (Or just forget the lights and call it the "GE Constant Off Tree" from now on.) This is the fourth year I put up this tree and now ONLY THE BOTTOM OF THE TREE LIGHTS. I spent over $300 for a GE Constant On tree and I consider this product a rip off for consumers and a waste of money. That's over $100/yr for the 3 useful years I had it. If you want to try to work around the "special bulb", a few brave souls have tried and you can search for instructions on the web. My husband and I are both engineers and agree this is a lousy design from GE.
