Just what my husband wanted, not necessarily just what he needed BUT beings it's the season and he believes he's wanting cheer, we ordered this colorful pre-lit Alpine Artificial Christmas tree for his office, to perch on his desk. It was easy to assemble, essentially sticking the top into the bottom half of the tree that is attached to a sturdy-enough metal base. The tips of the 'needles' are lightly frosted to depict snow; perhaps would prefer more frosting. To complete the look with proper kitsch, we need find some frosted sparkly 'snow' to wrap around the base & he'll not lack cheer in his office this year!
